Students at TVEMS and DTEMS had the opportunity to taste fruit and yogurt parfaits. Milk is the Family Nutrition Program’s food of the month for March. Wendy Wolford, Program Assistant and Barbara Wolfe, Health Educator for WVUES provided the students with a taste of vanilla yogurt with frozen fruit and a bit of encouragement to try a new food.
The campaign is to encourage children and families to eat healthy and to eat locally grown foods when possible.
