The Tucker Community Foundation recently added two new staff members to its team. Jeff Fellers became the new assistant development director in February and Mike Moore was welcomed in April as the office manager.

Jeff Fellers joined the Tucker Community Foundation in February as the new assistant development director.
Mike Moore joined the Tucker Community Foundation in April as the new office manager.

“Both Mike and Jeff bring a considerable amount of experience from their respective fields to their new roles,” said Robert Burns, executive director of the Tucker Community Foundation. “We’re excited to have them as members of our outstanding team to create opportunities for the communities and residents we serve.”

A resident of Mineral County, Fellers comes to the Tucker Community Foundation after several years working with local businesses and media outlets in marketing, advertising and graphic design. Fellers received a degree in visual communications from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

In his new role as assistant development director, Fellers is working in collaboration with the Foundation’s Development Director, Kelly Stadelman, in shaping and expanding the Foundation’s footprint as well as helping to tell its story.

“I’m excited to bring my skills to the Tucker Community Foundation to help support communities and impact the people in the region where I live and raise my daughter,” Fellers said.

In his new role, Moore will assist Burns in maintaining daily office operations and procedures. He will handle the Foundation’s accounting practices and payroll and manage donors, donations and endowed funds.

“I’m very excited to be joining the Tucker Community Foundation,” Moore said. “I grew up here and have followed closely the growth of the Foundation over the past 30 years. The organization has had a tremendous impact on residents and community organizations.

Moore comes to the Tucker Community Foundation after spending the last 25 years in business management with a variety of companies in several different fields. The past 10 plus years Moore managed a local office for a Fortune 500 company. Moore majored in Biology and Medical Technology and received his bachelor of science degree from West Virginia University.

Moore can be reached at mike@tuckerfoundation.net and Fellers can be reached at jeff@tuckerfoundation.net.

The Tucker Community Foundation operates in eight counties – Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph and Tucker counties in W.Va. and in Garrett County, Md. Inspired by the flood of 1985, the mission of the Foundation is to create opportunities for the communities we serve. For more information on the Foundation or to learn more about our grant season call the Parsons office at 304-478-2930 or visit www.tuckerfoundation.net.
