Turner’s Tidbits

This week’s photo is of Mordicai (1855-1920) and Lucy White (1861-1950) Summerfield. He was a postmaster at Job before moving to Pleasant Run in the late 1890’s. They were married January 28, 1877. Mordicia was the son of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Pennington Summerfield. Lucy was the daughter of William and Martha Lambert White. Their children included: Andrew, Leonora (William Mitchel), Sylvena (Pearl Shaffer), Albert, Ulyses (Dolly Miller), Lillian (Harvey Davis), Benjamin, William (Etta Jenkins), Ada, Stella (Steve Amie).
