Vacation Bible School

St. John’s United Methodist Church will have Vacation Bible School, “In the Wild” for preschool – 8th grade adventurers. July 15 – 19 from 6 – 8 p.m., with a program and picnic on Friday. All ages are welcome.

Chatham Rabbits to play The Purple Fiddle

North Carolina’s Chatham Rabbits will play at The Purple Fiddle at 8 p.m. on July 16 Tickets are $8 advanced, $10 at the door.

Parsons Church of God Vacation Bible School

Parsons Church of God will have Vacation Bible School on July 16,17 and 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Kindergarten through 6th grade. Everyone Welcome
Chicken Burn

A Chicken Burn Fundraiser for

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Mission Trip to Bolivia will be Saturday, July 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p. m. ½ chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, dinner roll, dessert and water $10 per meal. Donations accepted and appreciated.
Tucker County Sunday School Convention

Tucker County Sunday School Convention will have a picnic on Sunday, July 14 at St. George Park. Sunday School at 10:30 a.m. with church at 11:30 a.m. Lunch at 12:30 p.m. Bring a covered dish. There will be a program in the afternoon.

Historical Society Meeting

The Tucker County Historical Society will meet Sunday, July 14 at 2 p.m. at The Tucker County Historical Society Museum in the Tucker County Annex. Visitors welcome.

Summer Movie & Munchies at Five Rivers Public L ibrary at 1 p.m.,
Thursday, July 25, showing “How to Train Dragon: The Hidden World”, rated PG, 101 Minutes.
Thursday, August 1, showing “Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero”, rated PG, 90 minutes.
Thursday, August 8, showing “The Kid who would be King”, rated PG, 120 minutes. All Ages Welcome. Snacks and Drinks provided. Free Community
