Grace Louise Corbitt

Grace Louise Corbitt, 78, of Dryfork, West Virginia passed away July 21, 2019 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, West Virginia. She was born February 13, 1941 in Onego, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Omar and Ocie Morral Mallow.

She was preceded in death by her husband on December 15, 2014, Charles Edward Corbitt, whom she married on May 28, 1962. Also preceding her in death, two sons, Ronald Dale and Donald Gale Corbitt, two brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter, and one great-grandson.

Grace is survived by two sons, Michael Lee (Lisa) Corbitt and Jeffrey Paul (Brenda) Corbitt, four daughters, Judy Kay (Ralph) Forte, Debbie Rohrbaugh and late husband, Marvin Rohrbaugh, Norma Jean (Rick) Summerfield, Bonnie Lou Corbitt and companion David Paugh, three brothers, Robert, Ray, and Larry Mallow, two sisters, Sharon Bonner and Donna Zahn, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Ms. Corbitt was a member of Dryfork Assembly of God and also attended Riverside Appalachian Gospel Church. She loved gardening, cooking, and canning. She enjoyed having company over and she never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends.

Friends were received at the Roy Cemetery in Dryfork, West Virginia for a graveside service, 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 with Rev. Jerry Sebastian officiating. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hinklefennerfuneralhome.com
