ELKINS, WV — Davis Medical Center (DMC) is excited to announce the return of Christine Evankovich-Edwards, MD, to the DMC surgical team.
Dr. Evankovich-Edwards is a Pennsylvania native and earned her medical degree at the University Of South Alabama College Of Medicine in Mobile, AL. She completed her residency training in general surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
“I’m looking forward to re-joining the surgical team and medical staff of Davis Medical,” said Dr. Evankovich-Edwards. “Although I recently practiced at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, my family has remained a part of the Elkins community, and with my daughters being active in sports and academics, this allows me to be closer to them all of the time.”
She joins fellow surgeon Dr. Deborah Chadwick, and will practice in the first floor surgical suite of DMC’s Elkins location. Her surgical expertise includes appendectomy, care and treatment of the breast, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, and more.
