ST. GEORGE, W.VA. — St. George Medical Clinic is pleased to announce, Angela Bohon, FNP-C, of Tucker County, will be joining the St. George family and is excited to give back to the clinic that cared for her as a child.
As a 2011 Tucker County High School graduate, Bohon went on to study at West Virginia University where she finished her Bachelor of Science in Nursing to become a registered nurse in 2015. In May of 2019, she finished her Master’s program at WVU. She is currently finishing her Doctorate will return to St. George mid-September.
As a former patient of St. George, Bohon recognized how personable the staff were to patients — something she hopes to carry on in her role.
“I love how close you can get with your provider and how personal it can be. They treat you with respect and it’s such a close community,” she said. “Everyone is always there to help someone else out, and if you need anything, they have the resources available.”
With that in mind, Bohon hopes to be able to establish strong nurse practitioner/patient relationships with each of her patients. She also wants to help her patients make healthier choices that will lead to healthier lifestyles and hopes that patients will be comfortable with her to speak about any health concerns.
Bohon is eager to be back in her hometown and to serve the community that gave her opportunities to enhance her education and medical experience.
In her free time, Bohon enjoys spending time with her family, boyfriend and her English Bulldog named Bosco. She enjoys disconnecting from electronics and being outdoors.
