TUCKER COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS RUN IN PHILIPPI & ELKINS

KINGWOOD – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Preston High School on Tuesday September 10th to compete in the Mountaintop Combo Cross Country Meet.  The Boys’ race consisted of 7 teams and 62 runners.  In the Girls’ race there were 56 runners and 7 teams total.

The Lady Mt. Lions took to the course first and finished in 4th place as a team.  The Tucker County Girls’ finished as follows: 8th-Kate Falls(23:55.50), 11th-Erin Chambers(24:33.78), 30th-Hannah Hardy(28:36.78), 31st-Kristen Hicks(28:39.28), 32nd-Karlee Smith(29:00.69), 35th-Alaria Hudson(29:49.75), 41st-Riley Rohrbaugh(32:07.88), 44th-Kandace Nestor(33:27.97), 45th-Katie Surguy(33:34.28), 46th-Caitlin Fladung(34:07.72), 48th-Addie Buckley(34:18.59), 50th-Olivia Myers(35:36.75), 52nd-Emma Wamsley(38:54.88) and 53rd-Carley Dumire(40:16.25).

The Tucker County Boys’ team finished 7th and the Mt. Lions runners placed as follows:  19th-Will White(20:36.72), 32nd-Taylor Long(22:25.88), 33rd-Clay Poling(22:38.18), 43rd-Wesley Strawderman(23:56.84), 45th-Ethan Pacella(24:09.69), 53rd-Trent Eure(25:21.15), 54th-Raine McCauley(25:35.09), 55th-Noah Lipscomb(26:11.62) and 57th-Conor Greenlief(26:24.18).
