On Friday, September 13 during halftime of the TCHS vs Northern High School football game the 2019 Little Mr. and Miss Mountain Lion was crowned. For one monthnine contestants collected pennies for votes and raised over $12,000 for the Tucker County High School Cheerleaders in an annual event. Each contestant received a goodie bag with loads of TCHS spirit items for them to cheer on the Mountain Lions!!
The contestants included:
Danni Carr, age 3, of Parsons. Danni is the daughter of Sarah and Danny Carr and sister to Morghan and Jonathan Black. She is the granddaugher of Jackie Roy and Mike Triplett, Kenny Roy, Debra Simmons and the late Danny Carr.
Cameron Goodwin, age 6, of Thomas. Cameron is the son of Tracy Mullennex and Nicholas Goodwin and the brother to Railynn. He is the grandson of Michael Mullennex, Robin Persutti, Steve Goodwin and Amy Goodwin.
Bentley Haddix, age 6, of Parsons. Bentley is the son of Joe and Becky Haddix and the brother to Jonathan and Jenna. He is the grandson of Leon and Delores Kelley.
Miles Henderson, age 4, of Parsons. Miles is the son of Richard and Melody Henderson and the brother to Ava. He is the grandson of Neil and Judy Parsons and Anita Henderson. Miles is being escorted by his TCHS cheerleader, Avery Smith.
Avery Lycliter, age 3, of Parsons. Avery is the daughter of Scott and Alisha Lycliter. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Kathy McCune and Jamie and Teresa Lycliter.
Skylar Paugh, age 5, of Davis. Skylar is the daughter of Chris Paugh and Amber White. She is the granddaughter of Elsie Messenger, Dave Paugh and Jeannette Ware.
Bradyn Pregley, age 4, of Davis. Bradyn is the son of Chad and Erin Pregley and the little brother to Elaina. He is the grandson of Pat and Jojo Pregley, Pauletta and the late Brad Ramsey.
Garrick Tackett, age 4, of Hambleton. Garrick is the son of Sierra and Jeremy Miller and Nathan Tackett and the brother to Daniel, Junior and Trystan. He is the grandson of Rick and Lucinda Nestor and Dan and Bonnie Miller.
Rogan Tacy, age 4, of Parsons. Rogan is the son of Evan and Shanna Tacy and the brother to Tamden. He is the grandson of Jon and Paula Bush and Chuck and Dawn Schadewald.
