BERKELEY SPRINGS – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Cacapon State Park on Tuesday October 15th to compete in the PVC Championship. Tucker County’s Kate Falls won the Girls’ event and the Lady Mt. Lions took home a 2nd finish as a team. The Tucker County Boys’ team ran well also and captured a 4th place finish as a team. Frankfort took 1st place as a team in the Girls’ race and Frankfort also finished in 1st place in the Boys’ event.
The Lady Mt. Lions finished the race as follows: 1st-Kate Falls(23:19.10), 6th-Erin Chambers(24:37.90), 12th-Hannah Hardy(26:16.80), 15th-Kristen Hicks(27:14.50), 17th-Karlee Smith(28:13.40), 21st-Alaira Hudson(28:46.10), 24th-Addie Buckley(30:20.90), 25th-Riley Rohrbaugh(30:24.80), 29th-Katie Surguy(31:41.10), 32nd-Kandace Nestor(32:14.30), 33rd-Caitlin Fladung(32:19.80), 35th-Olivia Myers(33:01.30), 39th-Emma Wamsley(34:33.00) and 42th-Carley Dumire(34:39.10).
The Tucker County Boys’ runners finished as follows: 9th-Holden Young(20:31.70), 24th-Clay Poling(22:40.90), 29th-Ethan Pacella(23:11.40), 30th-Trent Eure(23:17.40), 36th-Raine McCauley(24:12.50), 39th-Wesley Strawderman(23:43.10), 41st-Taylor Long(24:49.60), 42nd- Will White(25:07.70) and 48th-Noah Lipscomb(26:38.20).
