Tucker County Volleyball Finishes Regular Season

LOST CREEK – The Lady Mt. Lions Volleyball team traveled to South Harrison for a single match on Tuesday October 22nd. This match was best out of 5 set match.

Tucker County fell in the opening set by the count of 25-9. The Lady Mt. Lions competed in the seonf set, but the Lady Hawks had too much fire power as they took the second set 25-13. Tucker County could not mount a comeback in the third set of the match as the visiting Lady Mt. Lions dropped the set 25-11 to give South Harrison the 3-0 victory over Tucker County.

FRANKLIN –The Tucker County Volleyball team then traveled to Pendleton County on Thursday October 24th for their last match of the regular season. This match was best out of 5 set match.

The first set was competitive as the Lady Mt. Lions fought hard, but Pendleton County took the first set 25-11. The Lady Wildcats then showed some dominance in the second set as they took the second set by the count of 25-7. Tucker County showed some fight in the third set as they tried to extend the match. However, Pendleton County won the third set 25-11 to give the Lady Wildcats the match win by the final mark of 3-0 over the Lady Mt. Lions.

Tucker County(1-14) will return to action for Sectional play on Monday November 4th at Paw Paw for a single match starting at 7pm. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
