Magistrate News for the week of January 14, 2014

The following citations have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
  • David Wayne Brobst of Parsons was cited for No seatbelt by Cpl. M.S. Wetzel. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Ahmad Nafchi Mirzakhani of Charleston was cited for No seatbelt by Dep. C. R. Donelson. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $25.
  • John Allen Boyles of Kerens was cited for No proof of insurance by Dep. C.A. Teter. Proof was shown and charge was dismissed.
  • John N. Bobo of Keyser was cited for Reckless driving and Indecent exposure by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled No contest on both charges and was fined $200 and paid court costs of $330.50.
  • Robert Edwin Bochtler of Reston, Va. was cited for Speeding (44-35) by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Stephen Allen Rodeheaver of Oakland, Md. was cited for Speeding (40-25) by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled Guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Billie Jo Haddix of Hendricks was cited for No proof of insurance by Trp. J.E. Kopec. Proof was shown and charge was dismissed.
  • Heath Allen Brown of Morgantown was cited for Expired Registration by Dep. C.A. Teter. Proof was shown and charge was dismissed.
  • Richard Pat Knotts of Hambleton was cited for No/Expired MVI by Dep. C.A. Teter. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.75.

 

The following are cases that have been adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
  • Barbara Jo Card: Judgment of No Contest Plea for one count Driving while license suspended or revoked. The date of the violation was Sept. 11, 2013. She was assessed costs aqnd fees of $165.25. The case was Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 19 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
  • Brandon Ray Holbrooks: Judgment of No Contest Plea for one count Escape or attempt to escape from custody of the Director of Juvenile Services (over 18 years). The date of violation was Nov. 24. He was assessed costs and fees of $165.25 and ordered to serve 90 days jail with credit for time served of 15 days. The case was Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 19 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
  • Troy Lee Waybright: Judgment of Guilty Plea for one count Domestic violence-Criminal acts-Battery. The date of violation was Oct. 27. He was assessed costs and fees of $165.25 and a jail term of 30 days which was suspended. He received Day Reporting to the Community Corrections Program for six months. This case was Ordered and Adjudged on Dec. 19 by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.

 

The following cases have been assigned to the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
  • Michael Hartzell of Clarksburg was charged with Domestic violence-Criminal acts-Battery on Wednesday, Jan 1. A Property Surety bond of $1,000 was not entered.
