FRANKLIN – The Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball team traveled to Pendleton County on Thursday January 9th. In the first game the Tucker Valley JV team fell in the contest by the score of 17-12. Emily Snyder led the Tucker Valley JV with 6 points and Mckenna Evans chipped in with 3 points in the Tucker Valley JV loss. In the Varsity contest Tucker Valley got the victory by the final score of 44-31. Brylee Wetzel led Tucker Valley in scoring with 21 points and Macy Helmick was close behind with 20 points in the Tucker Valley road win.
The Lady Wildcats will return to action on Thursday January 16th at Moorefield. Tucker Valley will then host Capon Bridge for a pair of games on Saturday January 18th with the JV game starting at 2pm. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
