Library Benefit Dinner
I love my library benefit dinner on Thursday, Feb. 13 at White Grass Cafe at 6:30 p.m. All profits go to the Mountaintop Public Library Building Fund. Tickets are $50 each. Tickets can be purchased at the Library or call Marilyn at 304-866-3484.
Food Handler’s Class
The Tucker County Health Department will be conducting Food Handler’s Training classes at the Senior Center in Parsons on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Those persons attending the class will be issued a food handler’s permit which will be good for two years. A $10 registration fee will be collected upon admittance. The classes will start promptly and late arrivals will not be admitted.
Cake Walk
There will be a Sweetheart, Cake and Anything Walk at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Parsons Volunteer Fire Department. This event is sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary.
