DAVIS-THOMAS GIRLS’ & BOYS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

THOMAS – The Davis-Thomas Girls’ Basketball teams hosted Pendleton County for 2 games on Monday February 3rd.  In the JV game the Davis-Thomas Girls’ JV team fell to Pendleton County 50-25.  The Lady Bears JV team was led by Raven Matthews with 12 points and Allison Liller added 6 points in the Davis-Thomas JV loss.  In the Varsity game Davis-Thomas fell in a close contest by the final score of 36-31.  Ericka Zirk led the Lady Bears with 10 points and Mackenzie Darby added 8 points in the loss for Davis-Thomas.

CAPON BRIDGE – The Bears Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Capon Bridge on Monday February 3rd.  The Davis-Thomas JV team fell short in the first game 40-35.  Carson Dearborn led the Bears JV with 11 points and Reid Kisamore added 9 points in the Davis-Thomas JV win.  The Davis-Thomas Varsity team got the win over Capon Bridge 54-31.  Maddox Anderson led the Bears in scoring with 22 points and Trevan Bonner added 15 points for Davis-Thomas in the victory.

MOOREFIELD – The Davis-Thomas Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Moorefield on Tuesday February 4th.  In the first game of the night the Bears JV team won the contest 29-18.  Logan Shahan led the Davis-Thomas JV with 13 points and Carson Dearborn added 9 points in the win for the Bears JV.  In the last game of the night the Davis-Thomas Varsity team picked up the win over Moorefield 45-37.  Maddox Anderson led the Bears with 27 points and Trevan Bonner added 11 points in the win for Davis-Thomas.

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ Basketball teams will travel to Harman on Thursday February 13th.  The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams will return to action on Friday February 14th when they host Capon Bridge.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
