Fairmont, WV Area high school senior proms will be taking place throughout the area in the coming weeks. Finding that special dress for a young woman’s big night doesn’t have to break the bank. And, the solution is right here in the area. The Cinderella Project will be Saturday, March 14 from noon – 2 p.m. at WV Caring’s, formerly Hospice Care Corporation, Resale Shops on Route 19 North at 603 Bellview Blvd. in Bellview and, at RT. 7 East in Reedsville. The fashion show will start at noon and young women can shop immediately after the show. Dresses and accessories will also be available during regular shop hours.

The Cinderella Project is a community outreach program that provides teen women with an affordable way to attend their high school prom. There are over several hundred new and gently used prom and formal wear, clothing, shoes, accessories worth thousands of dollars that have been donated. All items will be available for very low Resale Shop prices. Dresses, shoes and handbags are $5 each.

Proceeds benefit hospice care for WV Caring’s patients and families who do not have an ability to pay for the highest quality care they need and deserve.

If you would like to donate dresses or accessories including shoes, purses jewelry and other items would be greatly appreciated. Resale Shop hours for both stores Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.. If you have questions, please call Debbie Markley at 304-366-7995.
