BAKER – The Wildcats Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to East Hardy for 2 games on Monday February 17th. In the first game the Tucker Valley JV team got the win 36-35. The Wildcats JV was led by Xander Lambert with 11 points and Nate Ricottilli added 10 points for the Tucker Valley JV in the win. In the Varsity contest Tucker Valley cruised to a 59-38. Ashton Lycliter led Tucker Valley with 18 points and Jeremiah Wratchford added 10 points in the win for the Wildcats.
MOOREFIELD – The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Moorefield for 2 games on Wednesday February 19th. In the JV game Tucker Valley JV got the win 37-20. Mickey Mitchell led the Tucker Valley JV with 19 points and Nate Ricottilli added 9 points in the win for the Tucker Valley JV. In the second game Tucker Valley picked up a win by the score of 50-19. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Ashton Lycliter and Ethan Rosenau with 11 points each in the win for the Wildcats in the victory.
CAPON BRIDGE – The Wildcats ended their regular season with a JV and Varsity game at Capon Bridge on Friday February 21st. In the first contest the Tucker Valley JV team got the win by the score of 32-10. Nate Ricottilli and Sam Marks led the Tucker Valley JV with 8 points each in the Tucker Valley JV win. The Wildcats also got the win in the Varsity contest by the final score of 55-22. Ashton Lycliter led Tucker Valley in scoring with 17 points and Jeremiah Wratchford added 11 points in the Tucker Valley win.
Tucker Valley(18-0) will return to action in the PVL Tournament this week at Romney Middle. The JV team was schedule to play Monday February 24th and the Varsity team was scheduled to play their first round game on Tuesday February 25th.
