Lenten Fish Fry
Lenten Fish Fry,  Friday  March 6, Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St. Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 6 p.m. Meal includes 8oz. Fish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8.00. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.
Historical Society Meeting
The Tucker County Historical Society will meet Sunday March 8 at 2 p.m. at the Tucker County Historical Society Museum in the Tucker County Annex  in Parsons.  Visitors welcome
Hunter’s Safety Class
There will be a Hunter’s Saftey Class class from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 7 and from 1 – 5 p.m. on March 8 at Blackwater Falls State Park.  Sign up online at WVDNR.gov.
Full Board Meeting
The Region VI Workforce Development Full board will meet Thursday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marion County Convention and Visitors Bureau located in Fairmont.  For more information about the meeting, contact Maria Larry at 304-368-9530.  Region VI is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Program.  Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request for individuals with disabilities.  If you have a hearing impairment and need assistance, please call WV Relay 7-1-1.
Canaan Valley Women’s Club  Dinner
The Canaan Valley Women’s Club of Davis is having a dinner at White Grass Cafe on Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m.  This is the annual fundraiser.  Call Marilyn at 304-866-3484 for tickets.
Retired School Employees Meeting
The Tucker County Retired School Employees will meet on Thursday, March 12, at the Depot Diner  at noon.  Discussions include current legislation and insurance benefits.  All retired school employees are invited.
Historic Landmark Commission Meeting
The Tucker County Historic Landmark Commission will meet Monday, March 9 at 5 p.m. in Thomas at Cottrill’s Opera House.  The public is welcome to attend
