Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball All-PVC Teams Announced

The PVC Conference announced the Girls’ All-PVC Basketball team. The Girls’ team was highlighted by three Lady Mt. Lions. Tucker County Senior Terra Kuhn, Sophomore London Hood and Freshman Kadie Colebank made the All-PVC list. Kuhn led Tucker County in scoring as she averaged 19 points per game and she also pulled down 11 rebounds per game. Terra also surpassed 1,200 points in her career at Tucker County High School. London Hood also had a great season with the Lady Mt. Lions as she averaged 14 points per game. Hood also collected 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game in her sophomore season. Tucker County freshman Kadie Colebank also made All-PVC as she averaged 10 points per game and 12 rebounds per game for the Lady Mt. Lions. Tucker County finished the season with an 18-8 record after falling to Parkersburg Catholic in the WV Girls’ Basketball State Tournament. Other players making the All-PVC team were as follows: Lindsey Rinker(Moorefield), Madison McGregor(Moorefield), Remi Hinkle(Moorefield), Katee Short(East Hardy), Ana Young(Pendleton County).

The Boys’ All-PVC Conference team was also announced with two Tucker County players making the team. Junior’s Wyatt Betler and Zack Colebank received All-PVC Conference honors. Betler and Colebank led the Mt. Lions in scoring throughout the season as 10 points per game each. Tucker County had a disappointing 4-20 season after falling in the Sectional Semi-Final to Pendleton County. Other players making the All-PVC team were as follows: Bailey Thompson(Pendleton County), Josh Alt(Pendleton County), Christian Dove(East Hardy), Seth Smith(East Hardy), Chase Vance(Moorefield), Thomas Williams(Moorefield).
