Ruth Sherlene Norman Mullenax, age 84 years, a resident of Cortland Acres at Thomas, WV departed this life early Monday morning, May 11, 2020 at the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV. She had been in declining health, although death was unexpected.
She was born Wednesday, April 15, 1936 at Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Jacob F. “Jake” Norman and Felma Ends Norman.
Surviving are one daughter, Peggy Tincher and husband John of Nestorville; one nephew, Jacob “Joey” Norman and wife Janet of Dumfries, VA; two nieces, Kathy Kisselbach of Berkley Springs, WV and Kimberly Lipscomb and husband Charles of Hambleton; and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death is one brother, Jacob Robert “Bob” Norman.
She attended the schools of Tucker County and she was a homemaker.
