Seeking Nominations for the 42nd annual Awards Ceremony presented by the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce
Tucker County Chamber of Commerce is requesting nominations for the following categories:
- Educator of the Year
- Student of the Year
- Employee of the Year
- Business Person of the Year
- Community Service Award
- “Tuckineer”
Nominations for these awards are due to the Chamber office by Friday, July 10th and can be mailed to:
Awards Selection Committee, PO Box 565, Davis, WV 26260 or sent by email to jessica@canaanvalley.org
They can also be dropped off at the Information Center in Davis. The office is staffed Wednesday-Saturday.
The winners will be announced in the Parsons Advocate, the Chamber website and Facebook page. We are sorry to say, that we are unable to hold a banquet. BUT we still want to recognize all of these outstanding community members!
When nominating, please be as specific as possible on why you believe this person should be recognized. The more information you can provide on the nominee the better. The more details we have, the easier it will be to pick a worthy candidate for each category. Don’t forget the coveted “Tuckineer” is meant to highlight one outstanding Tucker County community member.
