Because we can’t go on any trips this year, I will be putting some websites here in our column for those who have a computer. You will be able to take virtual tours. This week takes us to Las Vegas Nevada. You need to go to YouTube.com and check out “The Fountains at Bellagio” and “The Mirage Volcano Show.” At least you won’t lose a bunch of cash in the casinos! I hope you enjoy these shows. I hope to have other virtual tours for you in a couple of weeks.

Are you interested in improving some of your skills or gaining some new knowledge? The Adult Education Center is offering classes and individual help for adults in the basement of the Board of Education Office Building. The sessions are Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 until 4:00 or 5:00 until 7:30. If you are interested, you can also earn a GED if you need one. For more details contact Lynda Gray at 304-614-7802. Work your mind—gain some knowledge!

We are in great need of homemakers for the Thomas and Davis areas. Duties would include light housekeeping, shopping, personal care, etc.  If interested, please come to the Parsons Center for an application.

The Sight & Sound Theatre will be presenting “Queen Esther” Live pay-per-view exclusively on Sight & Sound TV. You may reserve a ticket at https://www.sight-sound.tv/browse.  The show will be Friday, September 4th at 7 p.m. with encore shows on the 5th and 6th.

Tomorrow, August 27th, you will see 2 moons in the sky but only 1 will be the moon. The other will be Mars. It won’t happen again until 2287. No one alive today has ever witnessed this happening. This is something you don’t want to miss!
