SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.VA. — The 2021 West Virginia Wildlife Calendar is now available to purchase online, at retail outlets and DNR offices and by mail.

This popular calendar features full-color paintings of a state animal or fish species each month and includes a brief description of each subject, daily facts about best fishing days, tips for enjoying the outdoors and full-length articles about West Virginia Division of Natural Resources projects.

The calendars make great gifts and sell for $10 each, plus tax and shipping. They can be ordered online at wvstateparks.com by clicking the Merchandise button at the top of the homepage. To find a list of retail outlets that sell the calendar and to download a main-in order form, visit wvdnr.gov/wildlife/wildlifecalendar.shtm.

Proceeds from calendar sales have generated funding for WVDNR Wildlife Resources Section programs for 32 years. The calendar has won gold, silver and bronze national calendar awards for more than 10 years in categories such as “Most Informative,” “Most Educational” or “Best Subject.”

The WVDNR is still accepting vendor orders and outlets interested in becoming a West Virginia Wildlife Calendar retailer should contact Jessica Swecker at 304-637-0245.
