FRANKLIN – The Lady Mt. Lions Volleyball team traveled to Pendleton County for a JV / Varsity match with Pendleton County on Thursday October 8th.
In the JV match Pendleton County won the first set 25-3 and the Lady Wildcats took the second set 25-7. This gave Pendleton County JV the win over Tucker County 2-0.
The Varsity teams then took the floor in a best of 5 set match. Pendleton County took the first set in a close score 25-22. In the second set the homestanding Lady Wildcats won 25-10.
The Lady Mt. Lions then needed a win in the third set to extend the match, but Pendleton County took the third set by the score of 25-10. This gave Pendleton County the match win 3-0 over Tucker County.
Tucker County are scheduled to host a Tri-Match on Monday October 12th and they will travel to Preston tonight Wednesday October 14th. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
