John Junior Arnold, 67, of Sugarlands, WV passed away on February 20, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1953 in Parsons, WV; a son to the late Charles Daniel and Stella Mae (Sampson) Arnold.
John was a coal miner and worked for Laurel Run and Robinson mines. He was Pentecostal by faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, mowing grass, and anything involving being outdoors. He tinkered with motors and piddled wood. His Children and Grandchildren were his pride and joy. John was truly a family man and always put his family first; attending any sporting events he could that his grandchildren participated in. He was a member of Mt. Top Hunting Club, the NRA, and UMWA.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frankie Jane Sharp, whom he married on February 20, 1976. Also surviving; one son, John “Bo” Arnold II and wife Denise of Sugarlands; two daughters, Tonya Sites and husband Jason of Maysville, and Christina Dyer and husband Jeromy of Eglon; eight grandchildren, Autumn McGee and husband Branden, Nevaeh Dragovich, Cassie Arnold and partner Marshall Thayer, Christian Miller, Garrett Sites, Charlene Doman, Alex and Joannah Dyer; four great-grandchildren, Willow Thayer, Alexia Sites, Cameron Doman, and Baby C; three brothers, Leonard Arnold and wife Brenda, Clyde Arnold and wife Aggie, Harry Arnold and wife Billie, four sisters, Helen Lyons, Mary Dumire and husband Jim, Genevieve Streets, and Floda Anstine; last but not least, his best friend and companion, Jug, his lab.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Arnold; and two sisters, Sarah Mae Hull and Barbara Firl.
