Davis, WV – On the heels of a successful winter season, officials for Timberline Four Seasons Resort have announced the resort is getting ready for visitors this spring, summer and fall. The resort, located in the scenic Potomac Highlands’ area of Davis, West Virginia, will be offering various outdoor adventures, lodging and dining experiences.

Visitors to Timberline looking for outdoor adventures, will be able to enjoy a newly constructed Zip Line, horseback riding, hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails (and bike rentals if needed), scenic chairlift rides and hiking on the various trails located on and off the resort’s property. After enjoying the outdoors around the area, visitors will be able to dine in the resort’s Fireside Grille, while relaxing in the Timbers Pub. Those on-site will also be able to enjoy entertainment every weekend throughout the summer season. For lodging purposes, guests can chose between hotel type lodging and private homes through Timberline Realty, the area’s largest vacation rental company.

Visitation to the resort continues to grow as guests are finding it easier to get to Timberline with the continued work on Corridor H, the direct highway link to the highly populated Northern Virginia region. The drive to Timberline has been reduced to just 2.5 hours with the opening of the latest section of the highway near Bismarck, West Virginia.

As the 2014-2015 winter season approaches, skiers and snowboarders can also expect major improvements at the ski area, which will be announced later this summer.
