Beautiful flowers around town made the Mountaineer Garden Club’s choice difficult to narrow to just one for July Yard of the Month.
The beautiful, symmetrical plantings of Gale Poe’s home (below) on Pennsylvania Avenue was the final winner. Her choices of Blue Hydrangeas, yellow day lilies and soft dwarf evergreens made this home an outstanding choice for July Yard of the Month.
Business Yard of the Month went to the decorative efforts of Parsons Volunteer Fire Department (right) for the many hanging ferns and the flag painted posts in front of the building.
