CAMP KIDD – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country team hosted a home meet The Tucker County Invitational at Camp Kidd on Tuesday October 5th for the Mountaineer Invitational.
In the Girls’ Race Tucker County’s Katie Hicks ran a PR time and captured the race win with a 1st place finish. Katie Hicks turned in a time of 20:49.20 to capture the win. Erin Chambers finished close behind with a 4th place finish with a time of 21:56.11. Tucker County Girls’ Results: 1st-Katie Hivcks(20:49.20), 4th-Erin Chambers(21:56.11), 11th-Hannah Hardy(23:41.73), 20th-Addie Hicks(26:18.81), 21st-Kristen Hicks(26:29.68), 23rd-Brianna Gooden(27:29.29) and 30th-Tessa Jolly(42:53.66).
In the Boys’ race Devin Witemore finished in 19th place to lead Tucker County with a time of 20:22.38. Mt. Lions Boys’ Results: 19th-Devin Witemore(20:22.38), 20th-Clay Poling(20:41.66), 23rd-Haden Wamsley(21:01.38), 30th-Trent Eure(21:58.15), 32nd-Wesley Strawderman(22:27.31), 34th-Allen Boyles(23:44.15) and 36th-Ethan McCrum(24:11.46).
