Glenda Lynn Dumire Friend

Glenda Lynn Dumire Friend, 61, of Mt. Lake Park, MD, passed away on December 12, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland, OH and was a daughter to the late Glenes Elwood and Joyce M. Dumire Nicolosi. Glenda was a graduate of Mountaineer High School Class of 1978. She was a member of Creation for Christ Church. She loved taking pictures, baking for her family and liked to play practical jokes on her husband. She was the proud organizer of her family reunion. She married the love of her life, William Boyd Friend, on May 30th, 1982. They have one daughter, her proudest accomplishment, Jasmine Friend. Also surviving are two brothers, Ronald Aliff and wife Renee, James Aliff and wife Betty; one sister, Rita Truxall and husband Larry; her furbabies, Bella, Boots, and Teddy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Vernie Mae Moats Dumire; two sisters, Mary Fay Aliff and Baby Debbie. Friends were received Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home. A funeral service was held, Friday, December 17, 2021, 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Mary Sanders officiating. Intermentl followed in the Accident Cemetery, Eglon, WV. The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Friend Family at this time
