Managing for Wildlife. Saturday, June 21 at 6 pm at the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. West Virginia University Wildlife Specialist Sheldon Owen will present a program on how you can manage for wildlife in your own backyard. Dr. Owen is an assistant professor at WVU and has been involved in research ranging from general wildlife management, diseases of white-tailed deer and bird populations as well as coyote depredation.
