The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Carol A. Moore: of Parsons, has been charged with one count of Petit Larceny. The complaint states that on April 21 Chief Deputy M.J. Sigley received a call from a male subject namely Dustin Luzier, who is the owner of The Depot Diner, in reference to a theft. He stated he received a call from Sara Luzier that he needed to look at the camera system for the Diner because a woman took money off a table. He reviewed the camera footage and contacted law enforcement.
Sigley spoke with Billie Pennington who stated she was working on April 21 and a lady allegedly told her to check the camera because she thought Carol Moore had taken money off of a table. Pennington stated she has Sara pull up the camera system and money was allegedly taken from the table.
Sigley received the video footage and noticed a female subject reach down to the table, grab something off the table and place something back down on the table then place her hand in her pocket. Sigley was advised by the Depot Diner they thought the tip money was valued at approximately $3.
Julian Francis Gilmore: of Philippi, has been charged with one count of Domestic Battery. According to the complaint, on Friday, March 18 Trooper C.A. Hawkins and Chief Deputy J. Sigley were dispatched via Tucker County 911 to a domestic disturbance located a 5 Church St in Hendricks.
The officers arrived on the scene and made contact with the victim, Alexa Marsh who stated that Julian Gilmore showed up at her house and began pounding on the door. She said that when she opened the door to tell him to leave, he forced his way inside the home, pushing her out of the way. She said he allegedly pushed her through the house and knocked her glasses off her face. She said the he then left the residence for a short period of time before coming back and started banging on the door again. She stated that he allegedly spit on her and that she believes there is a handgun missing from the residence.
