LADY MT. LIONS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM WIN KEYSER MEET

KEYSER – The Mt. Lions Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country team traveled to Keyser High School on Tuesday August 23rd to compete in a 4 team meet.

 

In the Girls’ race Tucker County dominated as they took 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 9th place.  Erin Chambers led the Lady Mt. Lions with a time of 22:07.77 in 1st place.  Katie Hicks finished 2nd with a time of 22:52.59, while Addie Moats posted a time of 24:21.97 to take 4th place.  Hannah Hardy placed 5th with at time of 25:44.76 and Brianna Gooden posted a time of 29:11.82 to finish 9th in the meet.  The Lady Mt. Lions took 1st place as a team in the meet.

 

The Tucker County Boys’ team would finish 2nd overall as a team.  Cameron Judy led Tucker County with a 6th place finish and a time of 2:36.09.  Nate Ricottilli took home 7th place with a time of 20:53.54 and Alex Boyles finished with a time of 21:58.35 to place 10th.  Allen Boyles(23:56.56) placed 14th and Lynk Suesli(25:32.32) finished 18th.

 

The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams will return to action on Saturday September 3rd at Buckhannon-Upshur.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
