Interpretive walks weekly at Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge occur weekly on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and Fridays at 2 p.m., with additional walks some weeks. For the week of Dec. 12 to 17 there are two walks. On Wednesday Dec. 14, learn about hibernation and brumation, meeting at Beall parking lot off Cortland Rd at 11 a.m. On Friday Dec.16, learn about the evergreens of Canaan Valley, meeting at Freeland Boardwalk on Freeland Rd at 2 p.m. Follow us at Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge Facebook page.
