A local man faces 12 charges of sexual assault and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

LeonardWilson3824669Leonard James Wilson, of 211 Poplar Street, Parsons, was charged with ten counts of third degree sexual assault, two counts second degree sexual assault and one count contributing to the delinquency of a minor. According to the criminal complaint, Wilson allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 14 year old female on ten different occasions between January and October of 2013. The victim stated that she had sex with the accused and also states she had done this willingly.

The criminal complaint states that the victim was picked up on Mackeyville Road by the accused some time after 5:45 a.m. and he transported her to a place where he could drive into the woods. The victim allegedly stated that she was messed up on drugs and he was having sex with her after she told him to stop.

She also said that after he had sex with her, the accused gave her more drugs. She believed it was bath salts and she knew he had given her Hydros (Hydrocodine), after which he had sex with her again. Allegedly, at this time he threw her in the back seat and drove back to Mackeyville, at which time he allegedly threw her in the ditch.

Wilson is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $21,000 cash bond. Tucker County Sheriff Chief Deputy, E.C. Surguy, was the arresting officer in the case.
