The Tucker County Senior Citizens held their monthly Outpost at the Parsons Center on February 7, 2023.Mike Jones welcomed everyone. They then recited the Lord’s Prayer, gave the Pledge of Allegiance, and sang “God Bless America”.
Those having February birthdays were recognized and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to them. Those present were: Lily Nestor and Jean Morrison.
The program began with Arlene Ramsey reading “Ground Hog Day”. Next David Sharp read “Thankful for America”. There were 3 readings about Valentine’s Day. They were: “To My Valentine” read by Patty Wilfong, “Valentines” read by Patty Wilfong, and “The Legend of the Valentine” read by Barbara McClain.
The musical entertainment for the day was presented by the Goldenaires Choir and Meg and Jim Buddingh.
After the blessing everyone enjoyed a delicious meal.
