According to a press relapse from the Parsons Detachment of the WEST Virginia State Police, In the early morning hours of June 20, 2023 the BFS in Parsons was robbed at gunpoint. The clerk was not physically harmed during the robbery.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken. The suspect, described as a black male, between 5-8 and 5-9, wearing black gloves, black hoodie, gray sweatpants, black shoes, and an orange face covering, fled on foot after the robbery.
