Magistrate News for August 19, 2014

The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

 

  • Larry Eugene Alkire, of Parsons, was cited for improper parking on roadway by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Isaac Wesley Bowley, of Parsons, was cited for no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Scott L. Snyder, of Hambleton was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
  • David W. Snider, of Montrose, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Sandra Lynn Bohon, of Parsons, was cited for cell phone use by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100.
  • Elbert P. Osborne, of Herndon, Va. was cited for parking in a no parking zone by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Mark Allen Congley, of Thomas, was cited for no proof of insurance by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Frank Willard Long, of Hendricks, was cited for no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Bobby Lee Newlon, of Belington, was cited for expired MVI and expired registration by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $9.50 and court cost of $330.50.
  • Dennis Eugene Barnick, of Boswell, Pa. was cited for improper backing by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Gary D. Ball, of Prichard, was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Charles Earl Richard, of Davis, was cited for expired registration by Dep. C.A. Teter.  Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Joseph D. Uffman, of Hambleton, was cited for no seatbelt by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Zachary Michael Wolford, of Parsons, was cited for speeding (60-55) by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

 

The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

 

  •  Dustin Travis Carr, of Berryville, Va., has been charged with a felony of failure to pay child support.  According to the criminal complaint, Carr has allegedly not paid child support for a twelve month period, which is a felony.  The defendant was charged on Mar. 20 for misdemeanor failure to pay child support.  There was a hearing scheduled for Aug. 6 and the defendant failed to show up for said hearing.  The victim in this case brought a printed report from the Bureau of Child Support which showed that the defendant allegedly had failed to pay child support for a 12 month period, from June 30, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
