The descendants of Albert Campbell and Mary Susan Mallow Smith gathered Sunday, July 19, 2023 at the Flanagan Hill Community Center for their 68th annual Family Reunion. Family and friends enjoyed a potluck dinner and time to visit together while the children had fun outside on the playground and basketball court.
Everyone was welcomed by John Smith, who asked for a moment of silence for those who had passed away over the past year and invited everyone to look over some articles and publications about both past and current family members as well as the updated family histories from different branches of the family. Dave Thompson led those gathered in a prayer of thanksgiving for family and food.
Attendees traveled from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Colorado as well as various parts of West Virginia. They included:
