The 2014 Davis School Reunion was held Aug. 7 at Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center. The reunions are held every two years.

From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. everyone met at the Davis Volunteer Fire Department to register, renew friendships, share stories and have refreshments.

A banquet was held in the evening at Canaan Valley Resort with 57 attending. John Lawrence was master of ceremonies.

Besides Lawrence and Robert Walters, the other teachers attending and recognized were Dr. Randall Reed and Nellie Reed Crossland. Walters gave the invocation.

The reunion committee consisted of Walters, Lawrence, P. Steyer, Ed Kepner, John Kline, Hugh DeMotto, Freda Kovach and Veronica Staron.

Paul Benford provided the entertainment for the evening and also provided music after the dinner for dancing. He graduated with the class of 1957.
