Area high school senior proms will be taking place throughout the area in the coming weeks. Finding that special dress for a young woman’s big night doesn’t have to break the bank. And the solution is right here in the area.
The Cinderella Project is a community outreach program that provides teen women with an affordable way to attend their high school prom. This year it will be held Saturday, March 9th at 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at all three of West Virginia Caring’s Resale Shops; Bellview, Burnsville and Reedsville, WV. There are new and gently used prom and formal wear, dresses, shoes, and handbags are $5.00 each. with everything you need to make your prom night special.
Donations for dresses and accessories are needed to ensure there is a full inventory of all sizes and kinds of party attire available. Donations can be dropped off at the Resale Shops and the local WV Caring offices.
