This is a photo of the Tannery of Parsons. The card was printed in Germany sometime before 1915. Notice that the plant is fenced in, and the railroad tracks run into the plant. The tannery suffered damage during the Big Flood of October 1954. At the time there were 85 people employed and they tanned 550 hides daily.
