WEST UNION – The Mt. Lions Girls’ and Boys’ Track teams traveled to Doddridge County on Wednesday May 8th for the Class “A” Region 2 Championship Meet. The Lady Mt. Lions team finished 7th as a team and the Boys’ team finished 8th overall. Here are the Tucker County results from the meet.

The following Tucker County athletes qualified for the State Meet in the following events: Girls, 100m-Lela Wright; 400m-Katie Hicks; 100m Hurdles- Lela Wright; 4x400m Relay-Lela Wright, Mayah Gross, Addi Moats and Katie Hicks. Boys, 400m-Nate Ricottilli; 4x800m Relay-Nate Ricottilli, Logan Kopec, Lynk Suesli and Alex Collar; Shuttle Hurdle Relay-Logan Kopec, Ryan Scott, Liam Davis and Allen Collar; Pole Vault-Allen Collar.
