Mr. and Mrs. Keith and Joanne Dove of Baker, WV would like to announce the marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Dove to Wesley Snyder, son of Todd and Michelle Snyder of Winchester, VA. The outdoor wedding ceremony took place at Pendleton Point Overlook in Blackwater Falls, a scenic spot in Tucker County, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. with Brian Zirk officiating.
Elizabeth is the granddaughter of the late Wayne and the late Karen Whetzel of Moorefield, WV. The bride placed a picture of Wayne and Karen Whetzel and a rose on the chair by the mother of the bride’s chair in memory of them. Elizabeth is also the granddaughter of Bill and Carletta Barb of Fisher, WV and Kenneth and Denise Dove of Wardensville, WV. Wesley is the grandson of Mike and Carol Helmick of Thomas, WV and Denny and Aleta Snyder of Fairmont, WV.
The reception took place at the Thomas Community Center and was beautifully decorated with the help of many people.
The bride received a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Business Management from WVU Potomac State College. The bride and groom currently are employed in and reside in Winchester, VA. Wesley’s and Elizabeth’s honeymoon destination was the Dominican Republic.
