Elkins, WV – The Board of Commissioners of the Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA) has appointed Lisa Shaffer as the agency’s new Executive Director, effective May 27, 2024.
Shaffer has been employed by RCHA since 2009 and has served as Housing Manager since 2012. Prior to joining RCHA, she served as a Housing Counselor and Loan Originator with the HomeOwnership Center, Inc. Shaffer holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University and numerous housing industry certifications including Housing Choice Voucher Executive Management and Family Self Sufficiency Specialist. Shaffer also serves on the board of directors of the West Virginia Association of Housing Authorities and is Deputy Director of the 86th Mountain State Forest Festival.

housing market, promote the development of a skilled workforce and assist clients to become self- sufficient”.
