Mountaineer Days in Thomas was held over the 4th of July weekend on July 6th this year. Included in the festivities were a 5k/2K Race, food and craft vendors, as well as inflatables for the kids, a kid’s bicycle decorating contest and cake walk. The morning concluded with a parade. Several musical acts performed on the main stage including: Nat Frederick, Rebecca Wudarski, Jason Good Blues Band, Waylon Wyatt and Cole Chaney. The day concluded with the 67th annual fireworks display by the Thomas Volunteer Fire Department.
