Sharon Daniels welcomed everyone to the Parsons Senior Center Outpost on July 2, 2024. She also led the group in reciting the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Everyone sang God Bless America. Sharon encouraged folks to tell their 4th of July stories and introduced her niece who exhibited hula hooping since it was national hula hooping month.
Emily Lewis played her violin, and her lovely daughters sang many spiritual hymns to entertain attendees. Door prizes were won by Delores Kelley and Eleanor Nestor.
Seniors are welcome to come to St. George Community Church at 6:00 pm on July 18 for their covered dish outpost. Flanagan Hill’s covered dish senior outpost is July 24 at 12:00 noon. For further information please call 304-478-2423 with any questions about senior programs or services.
