Evans Family Reunion
The descendants of Daniel L. and Edna Shaffer Evans will hold their 43rd reunion Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Arnold Park in Leadmine, WV. A covered dish lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m. hosted by the Opal Judy family. Please bring a gift to be raffled.
Strawderman Family Reunion
The Strawderman family reunion will be held on Saturday, July 27 at Mill Race Park in Parsons. Picnic lunch at 1pm. Everyone welcome.
Pifer – Lipscomb Family Reunion
The Pifer – Lipscomb family reunion will begin at noon on Sunday, July
28 at Arnold Park in Leadmine. Please bring a covered dish and enjoy
the day.
Free Friday
Free Friday will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Parsons on July 26, at 6 pm in the fellowship hall. The menu will consist of a variety of covered dishes, desserts and drinks. Everyone is welcome.
Carnival
Midways by M&J returns to the Tucker County Fairgrounds. Offering rides for both kiddos and teens, as well as bouncy houses and delicious carnival food and games!
Daily unlimited ride armbands will be for sale for $20!

Get Involved in Our Exhibits
If you’re an individual interested in participating in our exhibits, we welcome you to join us at Tucker County Fair. Whether you have a passion for animals, arts, or crafts, there’s a place for you to showcase your talents. Open exhibit registration begins Monday August 19th 11 am – 6 pm at the main lodge. There will also be a public PeeWee and OldTimers show in the Barn August 23rd at 6 pm, where you can try your hand at showing a hog, sheep, goat or beef!
Join us in celebrating the rich agricultural heritage of Tucker County and be a part of the vibrant community at the fair. (Please Highlight the LIVESTOCK AUCTION. Begins at 6 PM. Buyers registration and dinner is at 4 PM. )

Mudbog: Returning for the 6th year is the Tucker County Fair Mud Bog! One of the area’s largest mud bog events, proudly showcasing over 100 runs through the mud, we welcome you to come to the upper field at Camp Kidd August 24 at 1 PM to watch the fastest trucks compete! $15 entry and 12 and under are free, you are sure to get a bang for your buck with this incredible show of mud trucks! On site will also be food vendors and Hillbilly Proud! There will be a children’s mud bog for those 12 and under and also a dash for cash foot run through the mud for youth under 18!
