Shawna Musser has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Compliance, Security & BSA Officer. Shawna brings a wealth of experience and a strong analytical background to this role. Having been with Grant County Bank for several years, Shawna’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to compliance have been instrumental in safeguarding the bank’s operations. In her new role, she will continue to oversee compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, which covers efforts related to monitoring accounts for potential money laundering and other illegal activities. Scotty Miley has been named Vice President of Retail Lending. Scotty, who started with the bank in 2012 as a consumer and real estate lender, has extensive experience in the banking sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from West Virginia University, a Masters of Business Administration, and several banking certifications. Scotty’s vision for the future of retail lending involves leveraging technology to enhance customer service and expand the bank’s digital footprint. He believes that technology will be a driving force for growth in the retail lending sphere, and plans to grow the bank’s digital presence while maintaining exceptional customer service. “Scotty’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to customer success are invaluable as we navigate the evolving retail lending landscape,” Ford remarked. Shelley Mongold has been promoted to Vice President of Loan Operations. Shelley began her career at Grant County Bank as a Loan Clerk in 1993 and has since become a pivotal figure in loan operations. She will continue to oversee loan processing and will be instrumental in implementing new loan products and software. Shelley’s extensive experience, from preparing loan documents to closing and managing the loan portfolio, has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of loan operations. She also plays a crucial role in supervising loan processors and loan operation specialists, ensuring efficient and accurate operations. “Shelley’s comprehensive understanding of loan operations and her innovative mindset are critical as we continue to enhance our lending services,” said Ford.
