Mt. Lions traveled to Upperglade, WV, where they downed the Highlanders of Webster County in the wet and mud, with a final score of 50-0. Tucker scored on the opening drive of the game on a 51-yard touchdown run by Jared Reall, the two-point attempt was successful with a pass from quarterback, Sam Marks, to wide receiver, Garrett Wilfong, and Tucker was up 8-0. On Webster’s opening possession they would throw an interception into the hands of Reall who would make them pay again with a 10-yard run for another touchdown.  The conversion was no good and the score was 14-0.  Tucker would get on the board again before the end of the first with Reall’s third rushing touchdown of the quarter, with a failed two-point attempt, Tucker was up 20-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Mt. Lions would air it out to start the second quarter on a 75-yard touchdown pass from Marks to WR, Reid Kisamore. Reall would add the two-points making the score 28-0. With the continued domination on defense, Tucker would get the ball back one more time before the half and Reall would add his fourth rushing TD of the half with a 27-yard run. The two-point try was completed from Marks to Wilfong making the score 36-0 at the break.

To start the second half, Tucker would continue the trend set in the first, with another touchdown by Reall via a 43-yard run. The two-point effort was successful with a pass from Marks to WR Keelyn Eichelberger pushing the score out to 44-0. Webster would not muster enough offense to get on the board, as Tucker was able to find the end zone one final time before the closing with an 18-yard scamper up the middle by sophomore running back, Cade Rapp, making the final score 50-0. Tucker was led by RB Jared Reall with 11 carries, 169 yards, and 5 rushing touchdowns. QB, Sam Marks, was 7 of 13 for 148 yards and one touchdown through the air. Reid Kisamore added one reception for 75 yards and a touchdown. The Tucker defense was led by senior, linebacker, Marky Phillips with six solo tackles, nine assists and three tackles for a loss. Tucker improves to a 5-0 mark halfway through the season, with three of the victories being shut outs, and still only allowing two touchdowns to opposing teams thus far. The team will travel to Franklin Friday to take on the Pendleton County Wildcats in what is lining up to be one of the more anticipated contests of the season. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm.
