Tucker Baseball Put Down by Pendleton and Moorefield

The Tucker Baseball team played twice last week, falling flat against Pendleton and losing to Moorefield, both on the road. Tucker played solid against the Pendleton Wildcats but would lose the contest at a final score of 16-7: Rapp 3-4, 3 singles; Helmick 1-3, 1 single, 1 RBI; Nestor 1-4, 1 double, 2 RBI; Hovatter 1-4, 1 single, 1 RBI; Poling 2-4, 2 singles, 2 RBI; Bolyard 1-3, 1 single.

The Mt. Lions would then travel to Moorefield to take on the Yellowjackets but would get shut out with a score of 10-0. Ricottilli 1-2, 1 single; Hovatter 1-2, 1 single. Tucker’s next game will be host to the Pendleton County Wildcats on Friday, April 11th at 6:00pm.
